NTLF’23 - Shaping the Techade NASSCOM at Buffalo Soldiers
In this project, I worked alongside our agency co-founder, supporting both the social media team and contributing to the UI design for the website. My primary task was to ensure the design aligned with the AI-driven concepts being discussed. This involved collaborating on initial design explorations using AI-generated graphics and assisting in translating those explorations into a cohesive digital experience for the website.
The NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Forum (NTLF) is Asia’s largest tech and leadership gathering. For three decades, NTLF has shaped India’s journey toward a technology-driven future, bringing together top industry experts, tech innovators, and business leaders to discuss, ideate, and form partnerships around the future of technology.
In 2023, NTLF focused on shaping the “Techade”, with special attention on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving this transformation. The theme revolved around how AI will propel industries into the next decade, with deep discussions on its applications, implications, and opportunities for innovation.
🙋🏻♀️ MY ROLE
In this project, I worked alongside our agency co-founder, supporting both the social media team and contributing to the UI design for the website. My primary task was to ensure the design aligned with the AI-driven concepts being discussed. This involved collaborating on initial design explorations using AI-generated graphics and assisting in translating those explorations into a cohesive digital experience for the website.
THE PROCESS:
- The creative process began with the concept of letting AI guide the design language. Our brainstorming sessions focused on generating the right keywords and prompts that would drive AI to create futuristic visuals, reflecting the event’s theme.
- We explored various AI-generated graphics for both the social media campaign and the website interface, ensuring they resonated with the forum’s focus on tech innovation.
The finalized video: We generated a series of images using an AI platform and merged them together into a video.
Social Media Collaboration:
- My role included assisting the social media team by designing posts, banners, and visual content that would engage users and reflect the forum’s theme of AI-driven transformation.
- We used AI to generate some of the visuals, making the content feel fresh, innovative, and aligned with the discussions that took place at the event.
UI Design:
- Based on the design language influenced by AI-generated concepts, I worked on building the **user interface (UI)**for the NTLF 2023 website.
- My task was to ensure the website had a futuristic and tech-driven look, while remaining functional, user-friendly, and easy to navigate, given the wealth of information and technical content.
Challenges:
- One challenge was ensuring that the AI-generated graphics translated well into a web format, both aesthetically and practically, while also being mindful of web performance and user experience.
- Another challenge was managing the technical content and schedules that needed to be presented clearly, despite the complexity of the event’s multiple sessions, speakers, and topics.
Collaboration with Co-Founder:
- I worked closely with one of the co-founders of our agency, who assisted in processing the more technical aspectsof the content and discussions. Their guidance helped in ensuring the UI design reflected the high-level nature of the event, focusing on tech innovation and leadership.
Experience & Key Learnings:
- Harnessing AI in Design:This project provided valuable insight into integrating AI into design workflows, from generating visuals to shaping design decisions, expanding my creative approach.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Working with the social media team and co-founder highlighted the importance of teamwork in delivering a cohesive campaign across platforms.
- Balancing Aesthetics and Functionality: The challenge was to create an engaging, AI-driven visual experience while maintaining clarity and functionality for a complex event website.
