UX/UI Redesign for an Influencer Marketing Platform






About the Client

Socioclout is an influencer marketing platform focused on brand communication through first-hand storytelling, strategic engagement, and polished influencer collaborations.



The Challenge

The existing website:
  • Felt outdated in style and tone
  • Missed key sections to explain services clearly
  • Did not communicate Socioclout’s brand personality effectively
  • Lacked enough information to attract and onboard new influencers

Goal: Modernise the website to be more contemporary, engaging, and informative while keeping it lightweight, easy to maintain, and aligned with the existing CMS.



My Role

I was responsible for:
  • Understanding users (brands & influencers)
  • Researching competitor platforms
  • Tweaking the Information Architecture
  • Designing end-to-end visuals & graphics
  • Creating interaction design flows
  • Collaborating closely with developers to work within CMS constraints

Approach:

  • Studied similar influencer platforms to benchmark trends in layout, tone, and content.
  • Conducted stakeholder interviews to define must-have sections.
  • Audited existing site for usability gaps and missing content.

Key Findings:

  1. Services not clearly explained — brands & influencers couldn’t quickly understand the value proposition.
  2. Visual style felt dated — didn’t reflect Socioclout’s creative industry.
  3. Navigation too shallow — lacked depth for services, case studies, and onboarding.
  4. Platform constraints — client’s CMS had limited flexibility, requiring smart design workarounds.





Design Process

Step 1 – Information Architecture
  • Introduced clear service pages
  • Added case study section for credibility
  • Structured onboarding flow for influencers

Step 2 – Visual Redesign
  • Defined new design system — colors, typography, UI components
  • Developed modular layout for scalability within CMS limitations

Step 3 – Developer Collaboration
  • Held multiple sessions with the dev team to align on feasible changes
  • Focused on performance optimisations without requiring platform migration

  • Brand Colors – Vibrant and confident, to match influencer industry energy
  • Typography – Bold headings + clean sans-serif for clarity
  • Imagery – Real influencer content & dynamic visuals
  • Buttons & CTAs – High contrast to drive conversions
Key Additions:
  • Hero section with strong visual storytelling
  • What We Do – clearly outlining services for brands and influencers
  • Case Studies – showcasing successful campaigns
  • Influencer Sign-Up Flow – simplified and mobile-friendly
